Today was Michaels Schumachers last race in his F1 career (I believe + hope he will come back). I will rememer this day as the day we also made our 2006 seasons last hiking tour in the austrian Rofan mountains near lake Achensee. With Rofanspitze (2259m)-Sagzahn (2228m) and Vorderes Sonnenwendjoch (2224m) we climbed three summits. A nice tour to end 2006 hiking season.

Nevertheless great sunny day in the Mountains. A good contrast to the day before: Saturday in the Munich Oktoberfest, first beer at 11 in the morning in the Schottenhammel beer tent.
Late the evening after hiking the Herzogstand. Related Posts:Sunday we made a small hike circling the Lake Wöhrlsee (30 km SW of Munich). Its a short Lake with 10 Km (7 miles) circumference. We walked about 2 1/2 hours. Here two fotos I made during our hike. Related Posts: |
